Engineering Manager

About position:

Organization and management of production processes in order to produce high-quality products according to a predetermined schedule that meet the requirements of the customer, in accordance with production plans and with minimal costs.

Responsibilities:

• Plans, organizes and manages activities in the engineering department;
• Manages and improves the production process of all projects;
• Creates a bill of materials (BOM) and implements it into the system (SAP);
• Enters all offers for tools, spare parts and accompanying equipment into the system (SAP);
• Organizes the solution of all problems that arise during cutting & sewing of materials;
• He is in charge of implementing new changes in the production process;
• Coordinates activities in order to save the budget provided by the project;
• Coordinates work during the installation of all new machines;
• Performs permanent control of all organizational parts and daily monitors and records the performance of each employee in the engineering department;

Qualifications:

• Work experience in the automotive industry for a minimum of 5 years;
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in same or similar leading positions;
• University Degree (preferably in technical sciences, economy or business field);
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, SAP;
• Excellent knowledge of automotive standard requirements (IATF 16949);
• Solid knowledge of Lean methodology;
• Solid knowledge of JIT/JIS systems;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Excellent knowledge of English language;
