Head of Controlling

Magna Seating in Serbia, present since 2012, specializes in sewing automotive seat covers. Our main customers are renowned automotive manufacturers such as BMW, Audi, VW, and Škoda. The first production site was opened in Odžaci in 2012, while the second plant was launched in Aleksinac in 2020. At our production unit in Aleksinac, we are looking for a Head of Controlling responsible for ensuring effective financial controlling by organizing departmental tasks, implementing and monitoring control systems, driving business planning and performance (including KPIs, EBIT, and cash flow), supporting strategic decisions and Capex projects, maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and fostering strong cooperation with internal management and external financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate tasks within the Controlling department.
• Monitor and implement financial control systems to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Participate in the development of the business plan and track its implementation.
• Define CR1 goals and KPIs (including EBIT), monitor results, and ensure their achievement.
• Analyze business decisions in cooperation with the Finance Manager and General Manager.
• Prepare forecasts, monitor cash flow, and provide financial analyses as requested by management.
• Maintain control over company assets and support Capex projects.
• Cooperate and communicate with auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
• Monitor and implement legal and regulatory changes in finance, accounting, and bookkeeping.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management or Economics.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Controlling.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, SAP).
