Job title: HR Officer (Legal and Employment relationships)
Office location: Serbia with Hybrid working (3 days in the office)
About the role and the Team:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Employee Relations professional to join our team. In this role, you will manage and resolve complex employee relations cases, including performance improvement plans (PIPs), disciplinary actions, and support for managers in implementing effective people strategies.
You will provide consistent, expert guidance to HR business partners and managers to ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies. As a key contributor to major ER projects, you'll also manage relationships with external legal advisers and support organizational changes involving processes, technology transitions, and collective agreements. The ideal candidate will offer clear guidance on labour legislation and workplace policies, lead training sessions on conflict resolution and employee rights, and maintain accurate, confidential documentation of employee relations matters. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic HR team.
What will you be doing?
- Managing and solving complex employee relations cases, including performance improvement plans (PIP) I disciplinary cases, or providing support managers in implementing these activities.
- Provides consistent advice and guidance to HR business partners and managers about ER cases, ensuring fair consistent application of HR policies.
- Takes a leading role in key projects related to employee relations within the company.
- Manages relations with external legal advisers.
- Provides organizational support changes, including processes technological surplus and collective agreements.
- Provides guidance to management and to employees regarding policies and procedures related to work relations and labor legislation.
- Participates in trainings and workshops for employees and managers on topics such as are conflict resolution, understanding labor laws and employee rights.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reports for all employee complaints, investigations and measures taken, with respect privacy and confidentiality.
What we are looking for:
- Degree in Legal or Human Resources
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience within a similar role
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and translate business strategy into HR action plans.
- Solid knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Experience with HR cases and PIPs
