Donation for COCI - Child Care

Belgrade Sustainability and Volunteering teams work hard to support, create, and implement initiatives and projects aimed at meeting local and global goals that we as a company strive for.

This time, in anticipation of the International Day of Charity, we invited colleagues to join us in collecting donations for the Humanitarian Organization from Sopot, COCI - Child Care, which works as a Center for Assistance and Support to Children and Youth with medical and psychosocial risks, children and young people placed in institutions, highly traumatized children, and children from socially deprived environment.

These children and young people do not have special needs, their needs are like everyone else's. As the new school year approaches, we wanted to make them happy!

The main goal of COCI - Child Care is to engage student volunteers (psychologists, pedagogues, special educators, etc.) and experts through various projects and programs and activities to support children and youth in psycho-social development and to make a great contribution to diversity, integration and socialization.

Our goal is to create a culture of giving, to be part of a network that encourages and develop local initiatives to help inclusive society, by collecting and donating 30 school sets (notebooks, pencil cases, school bags, pencils, etc) that will facilitate their regular school activities, creative workshops, as well as individual learning assistance.

We are proud to say that we surpassed our goal by collecting 45/30 school sets totalling around 2.400 USD (5 USD per each colleague at Belgrade worksite).
