Happy International Education Day

January 24th marks the International Education Day. Although this is always a hot topic, it is very important to reflect on some key trends and rapid changes we are witnessing in the world of work.

Rapid technology development creates jobs and titles we probably couldn’t understand just a couple of years back. This creates the need for both universities and companies to be more agile and adapt to these changes quicker than in any other day and time.

At the same time, COVID-19 brought a completely different perspective on the way we work. Working from home, creating remote teams and the ability to welcome, fully onboard, train and mentor newcomers from the conformity of our sofas or even beds, parks or favourite beach was something we couldn’t even imagine just 2 years back.

We have never talked more about career development in the workplace, gender equality, apprenticeship policies and importance of creating opportunities for fresh graduates.

Raising quality of work and creating clear career pathways and skill-building opportunities is something we strive for here at Clarivate. 

During 2021, we have accomplished some key milestones in our Belgrade office:

• Started the Clarivate Futures Program.  Our first batch of interns in marketing are joining us on 1.2.2022. and we are looking forward for more opportunities to come!
• Successfully formed 20 new teams  (many of them are remote!)
• Women at Clarivate: 50% of all leadership roles are represented by our female colleagues!
• 43 employees have been promoted!
